These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the QBM Hardware website and all purchases made through our online store, by phone, via WhatsApp, or in person at our store. By placing an order with QBM you agree to these terms in full.

2. Orders & Acceptance
An order is considered placed when you submit it via our website, WhatsApp, phone, or in store. All orders are subject to stock availability and confirmation by our sales team.
- Orders placed online are confirmed once you receive a confirmation message from QBM via email or WhatsApp.
- Phone and WhatsApp orders are confirmed verbally or in writing by our sales representative.
- QBM reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or stock unavailability.
- For large or bulk orders, a deposit or full payment in advance may be required before goods are reserved.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in Mauritian Rupees (Rs) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Payment is accepted by cash, bank transfer, cheque, and select digital payment methods.
- Financing is available through our partner Cim Finance on eligible products — subject to credit approval.
- Goods remain the property of QBM until full payment is received and cleared.
- QBM is not responsible for pricing errors on the website. We will notify you of any discrepancy before processing your order.
4. Delivery
Delivery is available across Mauritius and to Rodrigues Island. Full details are set out on our Delivery & Collection page.
- Free delivery applies to online orders of Rs 3,000 or more.
- A delivery surcharge applies to heavy or bulky items regardless of order value.
- Delivery is to ground floor only. QBM is not liable for inability to deliver due to access restrictions.
- Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. QBM is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- Risk and responsibility for goods passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.
- Rodrigues orders are subject to freight charges payable by the customer upon arrival.
5. Collection (Click & Collect)
Customers may collect orders from our Phoenix store, Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays), between 7:30am and 5:00pm (Mon–Fri) and 7:30am–12:00pm (Saturday).
- Collection is only available once you have received approval from our sales team.
- Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID.
- Uncollected orders held for more than 7 days may be returned to stock without refund.
6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
QBM operates on a all sales final basis. Goods sold are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless:
- The item received is materially different from what was ordered.
- The item is confirmed defective and covered under manufacturer warranty.
- QBM has made a documented error in fulfilling your order.
In the above cases, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your goods. Returns must be in original, unused, and undamaged condition with proof of purchase.
7. Product Information
QBM makes every effort to display accurate product descriptions, specifications, and images on our website. However:
- Colours displayed on screen may vary from actual products.
- Product specifications are provided by manufacturers and may change without notice.
- QBM is not liable for decisions made based on product descriptions without prior in-store or written confirmation.
- Always consult our team if you are unsure about a product’s suitability for your specific application.
8. DBM Water Tank Grant Scheme
QBM is a registered supplier under the DBM Water Tank Grant Scheme, enabling eligible customers to claim a subsidy of up to Rs 15,000 on qualifying Duraco water tank purchases.
- Grant eligibility is determined by the Development Bank of Mauritius (DBM), not QBM.
- QBM will provide the required proof of purchase documentation to support your DBM application.
- QBM is not responsible for the outcome of DBM grant applications.
- Grant terms and conditions are set by the DBM and are subject to change. Contact the DBM directly for the latest eligibility criteria.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Mauritius, QBM shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products.
- Delays in delivery caused by force majeure, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Loss or damage to goods after delivery has been accepted by the customer.
- Technical errors, downtime, or inaccuracies on our website.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the QBM website — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of Quincaillerie Bon Marché or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of QBM’s services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
12. Changes to These Terms
QBM reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
