Polycolor VIP Satin

Polycolor VIP Satin is a copolymer acrylic paint with good opacity and coverage. Available in white and a full range of colours as per the POLYMATCH colour system.

Recommended for interior use only. Easily washable.

Application: Apply two coats by roller or brush onto clean, dry and sealed surfaces.

Mixing Ratio (dilute with water):
– Roller: 15:1 (VIP Satin : Water)
– Brush: 13:1 (VIP Satin : Water)
– Spray Gun: 38:1 (VIP Satin : Water)

– Specific Gravity: ~1.15
– Opacity (120µm wet): ~92%
– Volume Solids: 35%
– Finish: Satin
– Coverage: ~12m² per litre

Drying Time:
– Touch dry: approximately 1h
– Can be overcoated after approximately 4h

Surface Preparation:
For concrete and plaster, wash surface with water under high pressure, let dry, then apply one thin coat of Wall Primer (<50µm). If the old coating and/or its substrate have blisters or other defects, total removal of the old coating is advisable. Remove by mechanical means or by stripping with Paint Remover. On powder old coatings, apply 1 coat Clear Binder. If substrate shows presence of fungi or algae: Apply Fungicidal Wash by roller and leave to react for 12h minimum. Rinse with high-pressure water. Brush if necessary. Once dried, apply a coat of Fungicidal Treatment on the surface to be coated the same day. Apply a thin coat of Clear Binder where necessary and leave to dry for 3h minimum. Apply 2 coats of VIP Satin paint, leaving each coat to dry 3h minimum. Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Sealed product can be stored for over 2 years. Cleaning: Use water; do not throw away in waterway. Safety: Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. In case of contact with eyes, wash with ample water and seek medical advice if necessary. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use empty containers to store food.
