Polycolor Polyflon

Polycolor Polyflon is a pure acrylic paint with good opacity and coverage. Formulated to enhance water repellency, water-vapour permeability and antilock characteristics, with a high dose of bactericide to achieve very good resistance to fungus and algae. Available in white and a full range of colours as per the POLYMATCH colour system. Can easily be cleaned by medium pressure water.

Recommended for exterior use in humid and dusty regions.

Application: Apply two coats by roller or brush onto clean, dry and sealed surfaces.

– Roller: 30:1 (Polyflon : Water)
– Brush: 19:1 (Polyflon : Water)
– Spray Gun: 19:1 (Polyflon : Water)

Drying Time:
– Touch dry: approximately 1h
– Can be overcoated after approximately 4h
– Important: Do not recoat after 36h

Surface Preparation:
For concrete and plaster, wash surface with water under high pressure, let dry, then apply one thin coat of Wall Primer (<50µm). If the old coating and/or its substrate have blisters or other defects, total removal of the old coating is advisable. Remove by mechanical means or by stripping with Paint Remover. On powder old coatings, apply 1 coat Clear Binder. If substrate shows presence of fungi or algae: Apply Fungicidal Wash by roller and leave to react for 12h minimum. Brush if necessary. Once dried, apply a coat of Fungicidal Treatment on the surface to be coated the same day. Apply a thin coat of Clear Binder where necessary and leave to dry for 3h minimum. Apply 2 coats of Polyflon paint, leaving each coat to dry 3h minimum. Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Sealed product can be stored for over 2 years. Cleaning: Use water; do not throw away in waterway. Safety: Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking while painting. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. In case of contact with eyes, wash with ample water and seek medical advice if necessary. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use empty containers to store food.
