Duraco solar water heater manufactured in Mauritius. Made from rust-proof SUS 316 inox and aluminium alloy — specifically suited to Mauritian climatic conditions. Registered with the DBM as an official supplier since 1995. Includes delivery, flat roof fixation and VAT. Plumbing and electrical works are excluded and must be carried out by a qualified tradesperson. High pressure fully separated split unit suitable throughout Mauritius. Collector mounted on roof, storage tank at ground level — up to 50m apart. Ideal when aesthetics are a priority.

Working Principle — Heat Pipe with Circulation Pump (Split Unit):
A separated collector (manifold) is mounted on the roof while the hot water storage tank is installed at ground level — up to 50m apart. The same heat pipe principle applies. When the temperature difference between the manifold and the storage tank reaches the set value, the controller automatically starts the circulation pump. The pump circulates water through the manifold and back into the storage tank. When the storage tank temperature matches the manifold temperature, the pump switches off automatically. When the water temperature does not reach the target, the electric booster switches on automatically.

Warranty Exclusions:
– Non-pressure system connected directly to mains pressure — must be connected to an open circuit header tank only
– Accidental damage, acts of God including cyclonic weather, misuse, or incorrect installation
– Repairs attempted by non-Duraco accredited technician
– System installed or operated without being filled with water
– Damage caused by cold water inflow through the hot water pipe
– Unit moved without Duraco’s prior approval
– No warranty on vacuum tubes except manufacturing defect

IMPORTANT — Electric Booster Safety: Switch off the electric booster before using hot water. All water connections from main supply to cold-water inlet and from hot-water outlet to distribution lines must be completed within one week of installation date.
