Product details
Duraco gully trap manufactured in Mauritius. A gully trap is a plumbing device that is buried in the ground to receive wastewater from your bathroom and laundry before it is emptied into the sewer main or absorption pit.
Because of its shape, the trap retains a small amount of water to prevent foul odours of the sewer reaching the surface. The water in the trap creates a seal that prevents sewer gases from passing back through the drainpipes into the occupied space of the building.
The top or surround of the gully trap is raised above ground level to prevent stormwater and other foreign matter from entering the sewer.
