Drymix Primefix Plus is a ready-mix mortar bonding agent specifically formulated as a bonding layer between concrete surfaces and rendering or levelling mortars. Its high-performance polymers and cellulose ether deliver high initial adhesion and an extended open time — ideal for professional construction sites in Mauritius. 100% locally made by Drymix (UBP Group) to BS EN 12004 standards, ISO 9001 certified, MSB (Mauritius Standards Bureau) quality controlled.

Applications:
– Interior and exterior concrete surfaces: ceilings, beams and columns
– As bonding primer before Crepifix, Plastertop 800 or other rendering mortars
– New construction and renovation works

Application Protocol:
Day before — clean surface thoroughly: remove boards, dust, concrete splatter, mould, efflorescence and laitance. Wash with water.
Day of application — start early morning. If surface is dry or temperature is high, dampen 10–15 minutes before.
Mixing — pour clean water into trough or wheelbarrow then gradually add Primefix Plus. Never add water to the product and never mix on the floor. Mix mechanically until smooth. Rest 3–5 minutes, remix, apply. Do not add water after mixing.
Application — apply with float or trowel at 2–3 mm. Apply rendering mortar within 15 minutes maximum.

Recommended Tools:
Float, rectangular plastic hawk, trough or wheelbarrow, mechanical mixer, aluminium rule, masonry brush.

Precautions:
– Do not apply below 5°C or above 35°C
– Avoid rain or dripping surfaces
– Protect from wind and direct sunlight
– Mixed mortar left for more than one hour must not be used
– Wear gloves and goggles during handling. In case of eye contact, rinse with clean running water.
